Kimberley Glissan is a founding principal of Glissan & Associates Lawyers and a driving force behind the firm’s boutique ethos: clarity, care and strategic depth. With more than 30 years of experience in family law, wills and estates, trust structuring, and commercial advisory services, Kimberley is known for her ability to guide clients through complex legal matters with precision and warmth.

James Glissan - Practice Manager
James Glissan is the Practice Manager of Glissan & Associates Lawyers, where he oversees complex litigation, strategic growth, and the development of a high-performing legal team. With more than ten years of experience across legal operations, investigations and courtroom advocacy, James brings a unique blend of practical insight, leadership, and a commitment to client-focused outcomes. He regularly attends court for serious criminal and civil matters, instructing top-tier counsel from his extensive professional network.
James began his legal journey as a paralegal, contributing to major national inquiries including the Royal Commission into Banking and Finance and the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. He later served in the NSW Police Force, gaining frontline experience in investigations and prosecutions. As a police prosecutor, he managed over 800 hearings and over 2,000 sentencing, bail, and section 14 applications.
James is an active contributor to the legal profession, teaching criminal law at the University of Wollongong and participating in international legal forums. He has attended conferences in Italy and Fiji and contributed to policy submissions for the International Criminal Court. His work has taken him across NSW and internationally. He has clients in Fiji, China, regional New South Wales, Western Australia, Queensland and the United States, and has developed a legal network for international disputes across the UAE, Europe, the United States, the South Pacific Islands, and South America.
